Installation of our standard adaptive tool system on 90 front decking pallets in Ford’s Chicago assembly plant.
The design of the system allows an adaptive tool plate to replace the previous ”flip” tooling without needing to adjust the master body location pins, making installation fast and issue free.
Ford North America implemented the flexible system across all of its vehicle assembly plants. Our customer can now easily introduce any new engine and transmission combination in any plant without major tooling overhaul.
