Leidos Industrial Engineers’ investment in the latest CAD software and hardware supports our in-house mechanical design department and enables us to design and deliver an array of specialist tooling solutions, including prototypes and one-off custom designs. Our design software capabilities include:
- I-DEAS V13 (with FEA capability)
- CATIA[EE1]V5
- AutoCAD
- SolidWorks
- FEA capability
We are often able to utilize our customer's own product CAD data when requested. This data can be sent via FTP, OEM services, Direct Link into the OEM team center or directly to our designers or project managers via our customer’s[EE2]own email system. Data types include:
- DWG and DXF
- JT, IGES and STEP
- CATIA V4 and V5
Our design engineers and project managers travel globally to visit customer sites and ensure systems conform to our customers’ requirements.
